3 cups of cooked chickpeas
1/3 cup uf water
2 cloves of garlic
½ cup of tahini (sesame butter or oil)
Juice of two lemons
Pinch of cumin, pepper and/or parceley.
Pinch of salt.
Spoonful of olive oil
You can used tinned chickpeas or start off with dry ones. If you do the latter, remember to soak the chickpeas for a full night before cooking them. Them follow the same steps for both options:
In a food processor put the chickpeas, water, garlic, salt, and cumin.
Add the lemon juice and tahini. Process it until the consistency is creamy. If it is too dense add a little bit of water.
To give the last fancy finishing touche, add a little bit of olive oil to the top as a decoration, and some spices or nuts.
