Kayak La Poza Lagoon
Half Day
We will follow the main roads along Lake Llanquihue for about 15 km to arrive at “Laguna Poza”. Here we will navigate 5 km on a thin channel that begins as 25 meters wide and slowly narrows to a thin tunnel, hardly 3 meters, surrounded by weeping willows and only accessible by canoes or kayaks. Once we arrive at the source, La Poza’s lake is an ideal place for bird watching, with opportunities to see birds such as Kingfishers, various herons, and regional raptors. We return by the same channel to Lake Llanquihue. The comparison between this immense water mass and the small lagoon and channels will surprise you as much as the change of colors from green to blue. Duration of navigation 2h30 Level: beginners.
